I’ll keep this really simple and less scientific.
But, in an “eggshell” (get it 😉) we are made up of water (about 60%), fat, and of protein (the remainder). Protein is found throughout our entire body—in our muscles, in every cell, in all of our organs, our bones, skin, hair, and our tissues. Protein makes up the enzymes that power many chemical reactions and the hemoglobin that carries oxygen in your blood.
Protein deficiencies can cause symptoms, such as swelling, stunted growth, a weakened immune system, skin and hair changes, and bone and muscle loss. The simple answer is, that the body would not function normally without protein and it’s essential amino acids.
While we can survive just fine by consuming a low-carb diet, the same cannot be said for a low protein diet.
This is why it’s absolutely essential, actually a NON NEGOTIABLE, to be drinking your water on an absolute daily basis and to be consuming an adequate amount of protein daily. “We are what we eat”, by every definition of the statement. Your survival rate and longevity of life depend entirely on these 2 building blocks!!
